How
it all began
Way
back in 1824 in London the Reverend Arthur Broome wished to
launch a society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
One of his associates was William Wilberforce the Hull M.P.
RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch has been established
since the early 1900's starting in a house on Beverley Road
and eventually moving to the Clough Road
site.
