HELP YOUR LOCAL BRANCH
We
raise all of our running costs in the local area and it
costs £350,000 per year to run the Animal Centre on Clough
Road Hull.
This fund raising takes many forms such as -

If you would like any information please do not hesitate to
contact us. Any cheque should be made payable to RSPCA-Hull
& East Riding Branch.
We receive some help from the National Society in the way
of grants for rebuilding, help with neutering and a
percentage of the membership fees.
However the everyday running costs have to be raised by us
with your help year in year out.
Kennel Sponsorship
Under
this broad heading we are inviting you to sponsor a dog
kennel, cat pen or miscellaneous unit.
This vital source of revenue helps to feed and give care to
the many animals in the centre. We do encourage you to come
along and play with the animal you have sponsored. During
the course of the sponsorship you may find the animal is a
different one. This is because we are continually rehoming
the dogs, cats and rabbits and a new animal may have been
placed in your sponsored kennel or pen.
Dogs can be walked and groomed and the cats and rabbits
cuddled. For some of you it may be impossible to own an
animal. You may live in a high rise flat or your landlord
may not allow pets, or finances or age and infirmity could
prevent pet ownership.
By sponsoring the area within the home you will be able to
give extra TLC to a deserving animal and will also receive
a great deal of their affection in return. There is also
the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to keep this
centre open.
Payment can be made by cheque or cash at The Animal Home or
by setting up a standing order through your bank.

Cat Pen £8 per month/ £20 per month
Misc. Unit £5 per month/ £10 per month
Lend A Paw Appeal
Our
appeal to raise funds to enable this Animal Home to stay
open continues. We still have a colourful assortment of Paw
badges but have increased our selection by adding animal
heads for you to acquire.
At present we have dogs, cats, rabbit foxes, badgers, pigs,
horses, squirrels, dolphins, hedgehogs, geese, penguin,
kingfishers,otters,octopus,crabs and tortoise, plus trolley
discs to use at supermarkets and Dog Tags.

Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 3.30 pm. Your assistance will
definitely keep our doors open and we hope this campaign
will help this animal home to stay open for many more
years.
Donations
and Wills
To
make sure your kind donation goes towards the work we do
here in the Hull & East Riding area please make cheques
payable to ‘RSPCA Hull & E.R. Branch’.
We are able to claim back tax on your donation, from £1
upwards under the Gift Aid Scheme. This enhances your
donations by 28p in the £1. Forms available.
Some people remember The Animal Home in their will and if
it is your wish for your legacy to benefit the animals in
this area the wording in the will must indicate clearly
your wishes, e.g. I give absolutely and free from all taxes
and duties payable by virtue of my death the sum of £......

Cartridge recycling scheme
Many
of you use cartridges in your fax machines, printers, word
processors and computers.
Used printer cartridges mean cash to us and we would be
grateful if you would drop these into the Animal Home on
Clough Road, Hull, Tuesday to Friday 11.00-4.00pm. Saturday
and Sunday 11.00-3.30pm
We pass on the used cartridges for recycling and receive
some of the resale value in return. This seems like an
excellent idea and your support will be most
welcome.
Please note we are unable to recycle plastic bottle
style toners.
